Our sensory room is open for everyone to enjoy – parents with children of any age, adults, carers, and teachers. While it provides valuable support for individuals with sensory sensitivities, it’s also a calming and enjoyable space for anyone who would like a moment to relax.

Looking for a quiet space?
Our sensory room, located in Coatbridge – North Lanarkshire, offers a safe space for kids, families, adults and individuals with additional support needs, sensory sensitivities, autism or ADHD to decompress. It is open to the public and can be booked by anyone who would like to experience it. It features soft areas, gentle lighting and calming sounds to help reduce overstimulation.
Booking a slot in our sensory room is a gateway to using our other services and community hub including our daily activity programme.
Each slot is available for £10 and our sensory room is open at the following times:
Monday – Friday:
10am – 8pm
Saturday:
10am – 6pm
Sunday:
10am – 5pm
Each time slot is private, with no other bookings in the room at the same time. Max 8 people total in the room per slot (including any carer/guardian etc). You can select & pay for multiple slots if needed. Each session lasts 50 minutes.
We complete infection control procedures, including disinfecting surfaces and equipment with antibacterial spray between all sessions.
