Our Journey
From Partners in Play to Empower Care Scotland
Building on Tradition, Expanding Our Reach
Since 1996, we’ve been dedicated to supporting individuals with additional needs across Lanarkshire. In 2024, we evolved from Partners in Play (PIP) to Empower Care Scotland Ltd—a transformation that better reflects our comprehensive services and expanded mission.
Why We Rebranded
Our Expanded Vision
While our core mission remains unchanged—empowering people with additional needs to actively participate in community life—our new identity allows us to:
- Provide direct support and information to families of children and young people with disabilities
- Extend our expertise into adult services, creating a seamless transition for those we support
- Develop independence and overcome barriers to active participation
- Improve opportunities for individuals with additional support needs at all life stages
The Same Heart, Broader Horizons
Though our name has changed, our dedication to the Lanarkshire community and our moral purpose remain steadfast: to improve opportunities, develop independence, and overcome barriers for all individuals with additional support needs.
As Empower Care Scotland, we look forward to continuing our journey with you, now with an expanded capacity to support individuals throughout their entire lives.
